Skyline is founded by Andrew who has a cycling background similar to anyone who is now in their 40’s and from the UK. From BMX in the 80’s, to learning how to MTB in the 90’s, to falling into road and then all-road bikes in the late 2000’s / early 2010’s.
He's fortunate to have raced, and ridden, all over the world; it's been quite a ride (literally). His only regret was not understanding how he could turn his passion into something more before now.
Andrew now rides for sheer enjoyment and to explore his new backyard in the beautiful Noosa Hinterland. It's no longer about chasing the numbers, and it took a long time to learn the importance of the latter.
So Why Skyline?
Skyline is one of Andrews favourite MTB trails (Afan Valley, South Wales) and riding there reminds him of weekends away with friends; riding, getting muddy, having a few beers, food, a good nights sleep, and then getting up and doing it all over again. The sense of shared enjoyment is what cycling means to him, and he hopes he can help create these experiences for you.
And there are plenty of magnificent mountains in the Hinterland that dominate the Skyline too.
